1. How do I become a CIMB Prime customer?

CIMB Prime Solutions is accorded to customers with minimum RM50,000 deposited and/or invested with CIMB Bank. To find out more on CIMB Prime contact us by calling 1300 889 800 or leave your details here or drop by your nearest CIMB Bank branch. 

2. Do I need to hold any products to be a CIMB Prime customer?

As a CIMB Prime member, you are encouraged to hold a Prime Account, CIMB Visa SIGNATURE credit card, and CIMB Clicks to get the best out of your CIMB Prime member benefits and experience.

3. What benefits do I get with my CIMB Visa SIGNATURE credit card?

Gain two times access to Plaza Premium Lounge with your CIMB Visa SIGNATURE credit card and get 1 bonus point for every RM1 spent locally, and 2 bonus points for every RM1 spent on overseas retail transactions. To top it all, it’s free for life!

4. Do all Prime members automatically receive a CIMB Visa SIGNATURE credit card?

We wish we could do that but we are unable to do so unless you already at least have a credit card with CIMB Bank. If you don’t have one yet, you may apply here.

As a CIMB Prime customer, the income requirement is only RM50,000 per annum (RM100,000 per annum for normal customer).

5. What happens if my Asset under Management (AUM) holding is less than the required AUM?

As a CIMB Prime customer is encouraged to maintain at least the minimum Asset Under Management (AUM) balance of RM50,000 in deposits and/or investment in order to enjoy all exclusive benefits and privileges and to avoid termination as a CIMB Prime customers.

6. What is the priority services accorded to CIMB Prime customers?

All CIMB Prime customers will enjoy priority consultations at branches for enquiries. Just identify yourself as a CIMB Prime customer. CIMB Prime customers also have a dedicated call centre for phone banking and customer support via 1 300 889 800.

7. How do I earn Bonus Points under CIMB Prime?

CIMB Prime customers get to enjoy a 360° loyalty bonus points programme whereby you earn points as you save, invest, protect, finance and transact with CIMB Bank. As the bonus points that you collect can be combined with credit card points, we recommend that you take up a bonus points-based CIMB credit card such as CIMB Visa SIGNATURE to accelerate your point collection.

8. Where can I check my Bonus Points balance?

Bonus points earned from credit card will be reflected in your credit card account statement. Bonus points earned from other participating products under CIMB Prime can be viewed by:
